Flood Crossing
Water entirely defines Bangladesh. All
year floods remove transversely much of the land. Appalling tropical cyclones
bring storm surges as well as murderous winds. Yet the power of the water to wipe
out is almost equally harmonized by its authority to make.
Passing paddies inundated by monsoon
floods, villagers of Nish anta pure slog over land that is both enriched and
imperiled by the raging waters their nation struggles to domesticate.
